Vermicelli
is a type of thin, spaghetti-like pasta that is often made from rice or wheat
flour. It is a good source of carbohydrates, which can provide energy for the
body, but it is relatively low in protein and fat. Adding vegetables, meat, or
other protein sources to a vermicelli dish can help increase its nutritional
value. Additionally, choosing whole wheat or brown rice vermicelli can provide
more fiber and other nutrients than the refined white flour versions.
